Welcome to Brown Steel

Brown Steel is a Toowoomba based steel fabrication firm, specializing in the fabrication and erection of structural steel for the construction industry. Incorporated in 1995, Brown Steel has grown to a point where they now service clients throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Working out of our newly constructed facility in the Charlton Integrated Employment Precinct, the company is ideally positioned, in terms of both location and expertise to contribute to all major Engineering and Construction projects as they come online.

Originally servicing the earthmoving and agricultural industries, as a National Code of Practice of Construction (NCOPC) compliant organisation and in accordance with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines August 2009, Brown Steel has also established themselves in the fabrication and erection of structural steel for the construction industry for both private and government sectors. Developing a comprehensive Quality Management Plan in accordance with ISO AS/NZS 9001:2008 - Quality Certification Standards along with policies and procedures in accordance with AS4801 - OH&S and AS 14001 - Environmental Management Standards it has enabled the company to since expand its core business further, with the supply of major infrastructure for the resource, and sustainable energy sectors, an area in which they hope to further expand their market position.

Brown Steel maintains a strict industry specific Quality Assurance program combined with the use of StruMIS, a software package guaranteeing 100% traceability of all structural components through all phases of procurement, fabrication, surface prep, transport and erection.
